- It aims to balance and clear the aura or energy field that surrounds a person. It is thought that aura exist as an electromagnetic field of energy that is external to the body. It depicts a person's state of mind, feeling, and spirit. The idea behind aura cleansing is to encourage harmony and general well-being.
Chakras
A believe that the human body’s chakras are energy centres. Along the spine, there are seven major chakras that are aligned.
Each one is related to particular traits and facets of life. Balancing and purifying the energy flow in these centres is the goal of chakra cleansing.
Techniques can include energy work like Reiki, meditation, energy healing and visualisation.
It is believed that there are 7 major chakras associated with human body.
1. Root Chakra (Muladhara):
Where: At the base of the spine
Colour- Red
Elément: Earth
The Root Chakra is connected to our sense of stability, security, and survival drives.
It stands for our ties to the physical world, which includes our requirements for things like food, shelter, and security.
Feelings of stability, belonging, and grounding are promoted by a healthy Root Chakra.
2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)
A little below the navel, on the lower abdomen
Colour : Orange
Component: Water
The sacral chakra is associated with our imagination, feelings, and sensuality.
It controls our capacity to take pleasure, appreciate life, and interact in constructive ways.
A healthy expression of desires, emotional stability, and creative expression are all supported by a balanced sacral chakra.
3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)
A little below the navel, on the lower abdomen
Colour : Orange
Component: Water

It controls our capacity to take pleasure, appreciate life, and interact in constructive ways.

4. Heart Chakra (Anahata)
Location: Center of the chest
Color: Green or Pink
Element: Air
Description : The Heart Chakra stands for empathy, compassion, and love.
It sits at the core of our emotional health and controls our capacity for both giving and receiving love.
Love-based interactions, forgiveness, and a strong sense of interconnectedness with the cosmos are all facilitated by a balanced heart chakra.
5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)
Location: Throat area
Color: Blue
Element: Ether (Sound)
Description: The Throat Chakra is related to self-expression, communication, and sincerity.
It controls how effectively and honestly we can communicate both verbally and nonverbally.
The ability to express one’s truth and have efficient communication are supported by a healthy Throat Chakra.
6. Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)
Location: Forehead, between the eyebrows
Color: Indigo
Element: Light
Description: Intuition, insight, and inner wisdom are connected to the third eye chakra.
It stands for our capacity to reach higher awareness levels and perceive things that are not physically there.
A healthy Third Eye Chakra improves perception, spiritual awareness, and intuition.
7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)
Location: Top of the head
Color: Violet or White
Element: Thought
Description: The Crown Chakra, which signifies our link to the divine, global consciousness, and higher stages of awareness, is the highest energy center in the body.
It transcends personality and ego. Spiritual awakening, enlightenment, and a deep sense of harmony with everything that exists are all brought on by a balanced Crown Chakra.
It is said that balancing and aligning these chakras can improve one’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and help them live harmoniously.
